A 125 gsm Nuyarn merino base layer with full arm coverage, built to sit under everything else you wear.
Body-contouring through the torso and sleeves, cut close enough to layer under a jersey or shell without bunching at the elbow or riding up at the cuff. The fit keeps the fabric in contact with your skin, which is what allows a base layer to move moisture instead of trapping it.
Nuyarn spins merino around a nylon core without the tight twist of conventional yarn, so the fibers stay lofted. That loft holds air for warmth at a low weight and releases moisture faster than conventionally spun merino of the same weight. On a cold start it holds heat; once you are working, it moves sweat off your skin rather than holding it against you.
Black is the default. It does not shadow through dark or patterned outer layers, and it works as a standalone piece when you shed the jersey or shell.
Layer it under a cycling jersey in the shoulder seasons, under alpine or nordic ski layers in winter, and under a sweatshirt the rest of the year.

Our base layers are cut in a body-contouring fit, slimmer than our performance tees. A base layer needs to stay in contact with your skin to move moisture, so it should feel close without restricting movement. If you prefer a looser fit, or plan to wear it as a standalone piece, we recommend sizing up. Nuyarn merino has exceptional stretch and rebound and fits a wide range of body types.
The sleeve length and overall length run a bit longer than average to allow for comfortable wear on a bike and to keep the layer tucked under a jersey or shell. The rear hem is slightly curved and longer than the front for additional coverage when you are in a riding position.
