Made with high-pile merino wool fleece, it offers the natural softness and insulation of 100% merino wool on the face, with a durable polyester-backed knit for structure. The fabric is crafted in Canton, MA, by Draper Knitting, using American merino wool sourced from Shaniko Wool Company, ethically raised and fully traceable.

Designed for relaxed warmth, the Lodge Vest features a comfortable yet tailored fit, allowing for easy layering without feeling oversized. It's perfect for unwinding after a day on the slopes, layering over a sweater on crisp mornings, or adding extra insulation under a shell when temperatures drop. The hand-warmer pockets, lined with heavyweight 100% merino wool napped French terry, provide extra warmth and softness. Collar facing and armhole binding are finished with Nuyarn® merino wool fabric, enhancing comfort and durability.

The Charcoal colorway is a versatile mid-gray, offering a refined look that pairs effortlessly with any cold-weather wardrobe.

Not just a game-changer, but a life-changer
This is honestly one of the best articles of clothing I have ever purchased. I was unsure of how/where I would wear this, but was drawn to the style, comfort, and flexible utility of this vest. Once I received it, I immediately had to order a second one for a friend who saw me walk down the stairs wearing it. And word spread from there.
It is amazingly comfortable. It is amazingly warm on those colder days, and yet still comforting on the brisk spring days, and surprisingly comfortable on the days when we hit 80 degrees. It has a way of regulating your body heat for both cold and warm days. And, it fits great over a couple of layers, including a sweater, yet also fits comfortably under several of my jackets, like my puff jacket and wind breakers.
I am not exagerating when I emphasize the comfort and the style/fashion of this vest. I get positive comments every day I am out and about in it. It is so handy to throw on quickly when I leave the house, not worrying about the temp outside. It deflects the rain, keeps my core at the right temp, looks great, and fits in an awesome way. When I see the various tech industry/logos on various puff vests, I now suggest they should go with something purely natural, like merion wool and consider this amazing Lodge Vest.
You won't regret this purchase, and you'll find yourself wanting more.
